Dyson launches Big Ball vacuum cleaner in India, priced at Rs 29,900

Dyson is on a spree of launches across its product line. After introducing the Airstrait, OnTrac headphones, and Dyson WashG1, the brand is now expanding its portfolio of vacuum cleaners with the launch of the Dyson Big Ball vacuum in India. This new vacuum cleaner features what Dyson calls ‘Ball Technology,’ allowing the vacuum to easily steer and manoeuvre into corners and tight spaces while picking itself up if toppled. The vacuum comes with a carbon-fiber cleaner head, engineered for all floor types, as well as a mattress tool and a combination/crevice tool.

The new Dyson Big Ball vacuum cleaner features 205 AW suction power, which the brand claims is achieved through Dyson’s Radial Root Cyclone Technology. The motor is powerful and produces strong airflow, ensuring efficient dust capture across all surfaces. Designed with a carbon-fiber turbine cleaner head, the vacuum can tackle various floor types, including carpets and hard surfaces. The machine also includes a 1.6L dust bin capacity, reducing the need for frequent emptying, while the 22-foot cord provides extended reach throughout the home.
The Dyson Big Ball also picks itself up if it falls, minimising interruptions. Dyson further notes that its ball technology enhances manoeuvrability, allowing the vacuum to navigate around corners and furniture with ease. It also includes a 360° articulating wand that extends up to 125 cm, making it effective for reaching high places, such as shelves and curtain tops.
The vacuum offers a hygienic, no-touch bin emptying mechanism, allowing users to dispose of collected dirt without direct contact. Additional tools, such as the mattress tool and combi/crevice tool, add versatility for tasks like cleaning upholstery and narrow spaces, expanding its functionality beyond floor cleaning.
